Our happiness and mental health depend on our enduring friendships!

Having great friendships is an important part of our lives. However, we need to make sure that we invite people into our lives that will lift us up and not pull us down.

It took me some time to realize that not everyone was a friend to me. Some had ulterior motives. Some were even jealous of me for some reason.

In order to improve the quality of my friendships, I learned that I need to be able to trust them. How do you do that?

First, you let them see a bit of yourself and then see how they react. If they are trying to change you, intimidate or put you down, they are not worthy of your friendship.

However, if they are accepting you, then I give them more of who I am. This is the way to build trust in a relationship.

As a result of building trust in my relationships, I am happy to say that today I have a group of friends that I can count on.

We are there for each other. We celebrate our wins and commiserate on the challenges and losses we have endured.

Healthy Friendships Make Our Lives Richer

Our happiness and mental health depend on our friendships. We frequently express our joys with others when things are going well in our lives.

On the other hand, friends may support us during trying times by understanding our emotions, offering counsel, or just listening.

A strong social support system can significantly improve our quality of life.

The majority of people, however, do not recognize the value of friendship until people leave or they damage the relationship.

Healthy friendships must be formed and maintained throughout our lives if we are to avoid losing people who are friends.

The following are some key reasons why it is crucial to maintain strong friendships:

1. Friends Can Boost Your Self-Confidence

It is critical to surround oneself with people who boost our self-esteem.

These are the friendships that will support you unconditionally and have your back at all times.
