If you are like me, there are days when I don’t feel like tackling my to-do list. I would rather read a book, browse through stories on Medium, or watch Netflix! How to get out of the slump? Maybe Nike has it right: Just Do It!

Although potent, motivation is not always required. While motivation might make taking action easier, we all take action even in the absence of motivation. It’s also simple to put things off when you lack motivation. You could even find yourself procrastinating.

What exactly constitutes motivation? Is it about feeling enthusiastic to take action?

What are your thoughts? How would you characterize motivation?

Consider These Motivational Myths:

1. Myth: Motivation is All That Matters. Could a 65-year-old woman play in the National Basketball Association? Can anyone become a well-known singer? Probably not.
