Today, someone posted a group picture of my classmates from when we were fourteen or fifteen. Looking at the picture of myself, I marveled at how far I’d come. If I could talk to that younger me, I would have tried to boost her confidence.
Like most teenagers, I had a lot of self-doubt. I didn’t trust myself or my abilities. Today, I know who I am, who I am not, and who I will never be. For me, that is freedom from self-doubt.
Confidence indeed helps everything go more smoothly. When self-doubt enters our heads, our ability to act is jeopardized. Self-confidence may appear to fluctuate randomly, but there are activities you can take to boost your confidence regularly.
Improve Your Self-Confidence And Achieve More:
1. Achieve Your Goals. Begin small. One of your goals could be to be at work on time this week or eat a piece of fruit daily. Manageable goals are easy to achieve. When you do something consistently, you get confidence. Choose simple goals that make a difference and see how they can boost your confidence.
